| smokone | Tue Apr 17 2007, 06:11AM | | | Posts: 18 | Last night TT said he wasnt sure about his g25 settings, so heres what I have #1 make sure the axis is not I repeat is not combined in windows control panel. I left the strearing rotation at the stock setting 200 (tried a 100 higher and lower cant tell the difference) under the rates tab 50% for all the digital settings (st th bk and clutch) Set the speed sensitivity at 0 (this simulates weight transfer so on a oval your pushing bad with it at 50 or higher. Look ahead 100 head movement 100 yaw at 0 ( i'm sideways enough with out simulating it LOL) Force feedback I have OFF (dont like fighting with the wheel just want to drive) Controler 1 My y axis( trhrottle) I have set to 0. rz axis (brake) to 0 everythig else at 50% I have not messed with deadzones (figure they are for when the stuff sarts getting worn out) Controler 2 (everything at 50% and they do nothing anyway
Here are 3pics of my (Ricky Bobby Racing system) and I'll tell ya how cheap I really am. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o157/smoke58/aksetup.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o157/smoke58/shiftermount.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o157/smoke58/DSC00128.jpg
Computer cart 32.95 at walmart (has locking wheels and moves easily for cable access) AK Rocker 35 buck store display from Best buy Anti rocking chair mount alows ajustable lean back with out ending up on your head ( $8.00 md board from home depot and they cut it for free (its sloted togther no nails) Shifter mount I took the back support from a broken computer chair and used the md board to clamp it to the base. Then the shifter clamps hold the mini mouse pad attackment (more md board) and the shifter to the metal backrest.
All and all works good for about 75 ducks. Smoke | | Back to top | | | |

Looks comfortable. Now 3 months later & I'm almost there. My frame should be shipping by this Mon. I will post some pic's once its all setup. If my wife ever figures out what I've spent I will never hear the end of it. At least she knows where to find me.

Its a little on the hard side but I figure I'm driving in it not sleeping. If you check 1 out at a store put it on a lower shelf and sit in it they are to low just on the ground, Racing with friends, Priceless lol My rig when driving is like sitting in a shifter cart.
